Cloud of Gold / Flying Island
3D concept modeling for a flying island made of gold by Martin Aleksov using low poly.
Inspired by the 1986 Japanese animated fantasy adventure film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki named "Castle in the Sky".
The models were created in Maya, textured using Substance Painter, and rendered with Arnold.
I spent 6 hours on moling and 3 hours on texturing and rendering.
