SmartApp Laboratory for Social Innovation, supported and funded by the City of Skopje, in cooperation with the M3DS Academy, prepares a creative and educational adventure for all high school students from the city of Skopje - a workshop on 3D modeling and printing. 15 motivated and curious high school students from Skopje will be offered the opportunity during the one-day workshop to learn the basics, as well as some of the creative and technical skills behind the art of the 3D world.
During the workshop the students will be introduced to the following topics:
• Introduction and overview - from a topic overview, through how the 3D printer and 3D printing works, to the printer's visual display.
• 3D modeling - introduction to computer programs for making three-dimensional models and their use to visualize simple 3D ideas.
• 3D printing - introduction and work with a 3D printer and making a finished printed 3D product according to a given example.
The workshop for 3D modeling and 3D printing will be organized for a group that will consist of 15 participants, high school students from the high schools of the City of Skopje. The workshop, lasting 4 hours, is scheduled for 13.11.2021 in the FINKI Amphitheater, starting at 10:00.
The lecturer of the workshop will be the top expert of the M3DS Academy Florina Dzingova, who is also the general manager and leading instructor at the M3DS Academy of Visual Arts.

The application is open to all high school students from the city of Skopje, regardless of their age, and participation in the event is completely free. The 15 participants will be selected according to the content of their application.
